JENNIE M. MERRILL’s practice is focused on representing municipal interests in construction and engineering contract matters, as well as matters relating to public procurement. She also has experience representing municipalities and private clients in wetlands protection permitting and appeals. Ms. Merrill received her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
Ms. Merrill has served as a law clerk for the Honorable James McHugh of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Her experience also includes work at the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals, the Conservation Law Foundation, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (Region I). She was a member of the Topsfield Conservation Commission for six years; the last two as Chair. Ms. Merrill has also served on the Boston Bar Association's Steering Committee for the Administration of Justice Section.
